High Protein Chickpea Noodles

I am a pasta/noodle girl, my favourite carbs. 😍 Today I would like to share with you a recipe for a super quick and easy pasta/noodles. This is just a basic recipe, if you like more spicy food feel free to add some chili, if you would like to make it more Mediterranean add some fresh finely chopped basil or dried basil. 🌱
Important remark, If you would like to heat it up please do not boil it, just pan fry....my favourite way is to pan fried with minced garlic. 🧄. If you boil it in water, it will just disintegrate.

Please don't be intimidated with preparing pasta from scratch, this recipe is fool proof
Serve it with your favourite tomato sauce 🍅 or sauteed vegetables
The serving below is perfect for 1 really hungry person, and gives you a whopping 20g of protein.

Ingredients

✅60g besan - chickpea/ garbanzo flour

✅275ml water

✅1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

✅1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

✅2 teaspoons of garlic powder

✅2 teaspoons of onion powder

✅¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder

Method

1.Prepare noodles by blending all the ingredients until smooth.
2. Pour the blended mixture into a pan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes until it starts to get thick and lumpy. Mix well and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stir frequently.👩‍🍳
3. Drop this hot mixture on flat surface (I am using chopping board covered with baking paper.) and then wit back of spatula spread it evenly.
4. Let it cool for 20 minutes. Use a sharp knive to cut noodles/pasta.
5. Serve together with tomato sauce. 😋
