Vegan Low FODMAP Cooking Class

The most common diet for IBS is the Low FODMAP diet developed by Australian scientists from Monash University. It turns out that up 70% of people with IBS felt better after just one week on a low-FODMAP diet compared to their regular diet.

Dairy products shouldn't be consumed on a FODMAP diet, so first glance it should be a diet, very easy for vegans, unfortunately that's not the case. There are also many vegetables and vegan proteins which can cause IBS to flare up, including soybeans, legumes, cauliflower, and mushrooms, amongst others. Many fruits are also off limits and a lot of grains too.

We have prepared for you a delicious 3 course menu - vegan low FODMAP recipes, easy to replicate at home

  • Russian Blinis (buckwheat based pancakes) with cream cheese and home made vegan salmon

  • Polenta Rosemary Chips with tempeh meatballs in walnut coriander sauce

  • Baked Tofu Cheesecake

Our menu is carefully designed to eliminate all IBS flaring ingredients, but at the same time, it's delicious and you can it replicate at home, these recipes can be used in your everyday cooking or served during a dinner party.
