A lot of shop bought dips contain oils, I find them way too heavy. This dip is so simple, and absolutely oil and salt free. Roasted almonds add a rich earthy flavour, nutritional yeast an addictive cheesy flavour and miso paste for a delicious umami touch.
You can use leftover broccoli from the night before.
Feel free to add some chili flakes for extra heat, or fresh herbs to enhance the flavour
We recommend to serve it with celery, carrot or courgette (zucchini) sticks - as an ideal midmorning whole foods plant based diet snack
✅300g steamed broccoli
✅4 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
✅1 clove of garlic
✅1 teaspoon of miso paste (optional)
1. Preheat the oven to 180C
2. Roast the almonds for approx. 15 minutes
3. Once almonds are cool, blend them with all the remaining ingredients.
4. Serve chilled
